On Sunday September 20, 2015, the 2015-2016 Parish Church School Year began with a brief introductory class and hike at nearby Roosevelt Forest.

The purpose of the hike was to introduce the theme of this year's Church School Program - " The Journey to the Kingdom of Heaven"
